New point of minority 'tipping-point' is 2050

WASHINGTON – The estimated time when whites will no longer make up the majority of Americans has been pushed back eight years — to 2050 — because the recession and stricter immigration laws have slowed the flow of foreigners into the U.S..." Yahoo News

Bring the troops back home from the Middle East now!! / Facebook

So, if you are sick and tired of seeing Americans not coming back from the Middle (like we are) you can join in and show your support herehttp://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=234551075080&ref=mf

Click here if you just want to sign a petition to bring them back:

Check out an article on Obama thinking creatively on stimulating the economy (while not creatively enough as we continue to send more troops to the Middle East, thus continuing the historic spending there):

Them Crooked Vultures - Album Review

This album is good, but not great. Is it adding anything new? No, but what it does have is an amazing rhythm section. Put this in a category of (Led is very apparent in this sound) classic rock with a newer rocking (tempo wise) twist on it.

We give it a 7 out of 10.

Black Patterns- Review 'Satire On Satan?' 11/24/09 on iTunes via N/M/A/ Recordings

We just received a promotional copy of the album 'Satire On Satan?' and love it! While the album feels lively it brings in a feel of 'Sonic Youth' mixed in with 'Deerhunter'. We think this album will do great and we are looking forward to future releases. The only thing we wish for on this album was more songs!

The duo 'Black Patterns' is going to be releasing their first album (remastered) "Satire On Satan?" for $2.99 on iTunes (the album was originally on CD only) in Nov. 24th 2009. "Satire On Satan?" featured tracks 'Zero' and 'Sound Of Thunder' on 2 notable compilations which shared tracks with bands such as 'Health' and 'Pete And The Pirates' (UK's 'Stolen Recordings' compilation #2).

You can follow the latest on the band/and their upcoming release here: http://twitter.com/blackpatterns http://myspace.com/blackpatterns http://facebook.com/blackpatterns

Asteriod #4 Live in Pioneertown CA - 'Clean Air Clear Stars Festival'

Wow, what a great night for day #1 of the 'Clean Air Clear Stars' festival. We got there just in time to watch the supporters (Morning After Girls) and were treated to a great show by Asteroid #4. The sound was great for this venue in the desert and we have to say the band played some of their best work.

Democrats are creating some bitterness on The Flaming Lips? Or maybe just Pitchfork?

We thought music was to be free of corporate white/male influence (AKA record labels losing control of the music industry). Not according to the talk that continues at the Pitchfork.com blog:

Those confetti-spewing, peace-loving, Bush-hating hippie weirdos the Flaming Lips are set to tussle with Stephen Colbert on a new episode of "The Colbert Report" airing this Wednesday, according to the TV show's official site. If previous musical guest appearances are any indication, the Lips will perform a song from their new album, Embryonic (due October 13 onWarner Bros.), and take part in a delightfully antagonistic chat with the host.

Wayne will probably say something mean about Arcade Fire and I will then have to write about it the following day. Make it a good one, sir.
